- Ashley Deck 40 photos The overall size worked and we were limited by the house and the landscaping. Changing from 3 levels to 1 made for a much more usable space. Adding a set of stairs off both sides made it all much more functional. The cedar pergola is the crown jewel of this deck.
- Bostiga Deck 27 photos We made it a little larger and used cedar and metal pickets. Along with the lighting this deck is clean and ready to enjoy!
- Brown Deck 28 photos There was not an existing deck so we were able to design from scratch. It was important to create a good flow from the basement walk-up to the deck. The design of the stairs flowed perfectly to the basement.
- Calabrese Screened Porch 41 photos They had lived with an open deck for quite a while in this house and it was time to move up to a screened porch. This will be a great place to relax.
- Churray Deck 14 photos The old deck was a strange shape and the rails were set inside of the rim board. This took up a lot of valuable space. We squared it off and set the trail outside of the rim board. These two seemingly small changes really made a big difference.
- Cline Deck 28 photos They were happy with the size and shape of the deck. I just needed to be brought up to code. We removed and replaced the decking, railings and the three sets of stairs. We also took the opportunity to added accent lights on the railing and a privacy wall.
- Colassard Screened Porch 53 photos They had lived with an open deck for quite and while and they did not really use it much. Bugs were the biggest issue. A screened porch solved their issues perfectly.
- Devine Deck 36 photos They wanted a deck with stairs, but they needed a door from the kitchen as well. What a great fit for some great people!
- Dinicola Deck 40 photos The deck off the carport was just too small. They have a great view of parkland. A small deck addition with cable-rail was the answer.
- Dove Deck 28 photos He built the old deck himself many years ago and it was time to say goodbye (snif...) The new deck is a little larger and we upgraded the balusters to metal, put stone under the deck and replaced the split rail fence while we were there.
- Giampapa Deck 15 photos Mr. Giampapa wanted a deck for quite a while, but needed a door to get out onto the new deck. All we needed to do was to remove a couple of windows and put a door in their place.
- Hanks Deck 19 photos They wanted a fairly simple deck that would provide plenty of space for people and furniture. The cedar railing with metal balusters really sets it apart!
- Hayes Deck 32 photos The old deck was done. For the new one they wanted the same basic footprint, but wanted it to be one level in order to provide more usable space. The result turned out great and fit into the neighborhood perfectly.
- Hoffman Deck 35 photos The old deck has seen its time and it was time for something new, safe and low maintenance. A composite deck with cedar and metal railings was the answer.
- Horne Screened Porch 77 photos They have been waiting a long time for a screened porch and now the time has come. Had to remove a window and install a door to make it happen, but it was well worth it!
- Little Pergola 35 photos The landscapers were doing a large scale backyard makeover and wanted a pergola built to one side of the pool. Our job was to design and build a cedar pergola to integrate with the design.
- Madore Deck 37 photos The existing deck was too small. They wanted something a bit larger and they wanted something that was low maintenance. We also installed an under deck drainage system to make the patio underneath a dry area.
- McGloin Deck 28 photos The size of the existing deck worked well, but the placement of the stairs needed to be moved. The deck was quite old and had several rotted joists. We installed a new deck approximately the same size, but we moved the stairs to the side and included a cedar rail with metal balusters and low voltage post lighting. We also included stone ground cover for under the deck to really finish off the look.
- Menold Deck 29 photos They were happy with the size and shape of the deck. The railings were failing and they wanted decking that was ultra low maintenance. Trex Transcend with cedar railing was the answer.
- Michalke Deck 17 photos The old deck was, well, old and it had served its time. The clients wanted something just a little larger, so we increased the size by 1/3. They also wanted something with very low maintenance, so we used Trex Transcend with pre-stained cedar railing.
- Negron Deck 51 photos The old deck was in bad shape and was just too small. This backyard deserved better and we made it happen!
- Penner Deck 32 photos They were pretty happy wit the footprint of the old deck. Just wanted to make the stairs larger, relocate the egress to the yard and add a nice cedar bench with low voltage lights all around. I all came together very well!
- Rundell Deck 33 photos This was a re-deck of the existing structure. Once we removed the decking we discovered some structural issues that needed to be resolved. Once that was done we were able to re-deck this structure and add some things to make it a much nicer outdoor living space.
- Sherrill Deck 25 photos The deck needed to be replaced, so why not make it bigger and add a second level. We created a retaining wall to allow a bench to meet code. A big change for sure.
- Wilbur Screened Porch 68 photos The two level open deck was just not getting the job done. What a change!
- Williams Screened Porch 56 photos They had a large composite deck. What they needed was a screened porch to make the outdoor living space even better. There was plenty of space to devote some of it to a screened porch. We also corrected some issues while we were there there, couple of heaving joists and we replaced the gate. This turned out to be a great upgrade to an already great outdoor living space.
- Wolfe Screened Porch 62 photos They had been wanting a screened porch for years. The time has come to make it happen. What a great addition to this awesome wooded location!
