The old deck was past its prime, was a little small and needed to be reconfigured a bit to allow more light into the downstairs rooms. The owners were looking for something with very low maintenance while still not breaking the budget. A composite deck with cedar railings using metal balusters was the answer. They also wanted to make good use of the patio beneath, so we installed an under deck drainage system to keep it dry and also provide an attractive and bright ceiling. It all fits very nicely.
