The concrete stairs the provided access to the backyard were in bad shape. The owner already had a screened porch, but had to go up and down the steps to get the the grill in the back yard. The answer was an open deck to use for grilling and to provide a place for some outdoor living without changing levels. This deck features composite construction, accent lighting and pipe balusters. There is also a dry storage area under the deck. The project turned out very nice and fits the house well.
