There was a ground level deck, but it was not used much because of it's location on the lower level. To make the space more usable a design was conceived to bring the open deck up to the same level as the existing screened porch. To make the space more usable a design was conceived to bring the open deck up to the same level as the existing screened porch. The deck was constructed of Evergrain composite in the redwood color. There were some existing bushes we were required to work around. The stairs actually had to land on the ground in-between two of the bushes. This is where careful planning comes in. The whole project turned out fantastic.
