The owners were looking for a bit larger deck. They also wanted something that would be ultra-low maintenance and take advantage of the steep portion of their yard that had limited use because of the slope. The answer was a composite deck that was broken into two levels to work into the grade of the yard. The upper portion was low enough to allow for a bench in lieu of a rail. The two sets of stairs allow for easy access to the yard. Lights on the rail and under the bench accent this deck, and make it just as stunning in the night as it is in the day.
